The G8 project took over Deerhurst Golf Resort’s Banquette Hall. The design had to ensure that the existing space could be turned back to the original as soon as the conference was over. Therefore the design was developed as though if was a temporary event.
All the walls were demountable, graphically skinned to look like wood; an easily click system that could be popped up or down as needed.
The scope of the project was the main meeting room, as well as a secondary meeting area and auxiliary lounge.
